Gulf Coast- Oil Spill

I think that this will affect the economy for people that catch fish for a living. I think that the oil spill could limit the fish population and other wildlife. If the oil was to reach the land it could harm more than just wildlife in the ocean but, wildlife on land. If it was to reach the land it could also affect humans and the way they live. Also, most of the oysters and shrimp come from the Gulf and the prices will raise to the limit in supply. I think that offshore drilling should still be able to happen but, with proper safety precautions. I think that gas and gasoline prices will still continue to raise because of the cost of the oil spill in the Gulf.

Energy Sources-April 19

If I was to have to choose one energy source to use for my home I would probaly choose solar. I would choose solar enegy because I doesn't pollute the air. It is very enviormentally friendly. Even though solar panels are exspensive after a certain period of time it will really cost you less. Because, energy from the sun is complety free. Another advantage, of solar energy is that is mostly maintenance free. Although, using only solar energy could become a problem as the sun moves. If your only energy source is solar energy for your home sometimes you might loose energy. You might not get as an strong energy as the use of other sources If the solar pannels are not placed in the correct way facing the sun. This is why I would choose to use solar energy for my home.

Is Global Warming really an enviormental problem?
I think that global warming is most defintly a enviormental problem. Due to global warming many animals and there habitats are dying. Also, global warming is causing ponds,lakes and rivers to dry up. With this in progress animals are loosing maybe there only water supply. Another example, that global warming is becomeing a treat is that it is becomeing a not just a threat to animals, but it is also becomeing a threat to humans. Humans are the biggest contributors to global warming. We could try to help slow down the process of global warming by recyling,reuse more bags ect., turn off the lights,unplug your phone charger when your done using it. This is how you could help slow down the process of global warming. Now do you see why global warming is an enviormental problem.

Gentics/heridty

Dad: free ear lobes, curly hair,widows peak, little hairs on fingers, smooth chin


Mom: free ear lobes,curly hair, no widows peak, little hairs on fingers, smooth chin



My parents pretty much have the same gentics except the widows peak. My dad has a widow's peak and my mom doesn't. I think that I inherted my traits from both my mom and my dad. The only thing me and my dad have different is that he has a widow's peak and I don't have a widoes peak. I think that my parents both have dominat traits. Except for one trait of my mom with the widows peak. I think the widows peak is recessive.

My First Blog

I enjoyed learning about Newton's laws of motion. I enjoy learing about newton's laws of motion because, we got to do that lab with the ballon races. The ballon races were really fun. This is why i enjoyed newton's laws of motions.
